Shop online through the Whatever Works Rewards portal to earn 5% Cash Back automatically. If you shop at MarketPlace retailers outside the Whatever Works Rewards portal, whether online, in-store, or by mail order, your 5% Cash Back will not be automatic. However, you can still submit a rebate claim to earn 5% Cash Back on those purchases. Your purchase subtotal is the amount of your final, qualifying purchase after all discounts or promo codes are applied. Your purchase subtotal does not include taxes, shipping charges, or any other fees added at checkout. You are eligible to earn a maximum of $1,000 in Cash Back every 12-month membership period from Everyday Savings and MarketPlace purchases combined. As a Whatever Works Rewards member, you receive 5% Cash Back on flight, hotel, rental car, and other travel reservations made through your Whatever Works Rewards account.
This 5% is based on the total cost of your reservation before taxes, fees, and other additional charges are included. 5% Cash Back on travel reservations is paid out after your trip is complete and payment has been processed by the merchant you booked with. Then, your earnings will be applied to your Savings and included in your next check.
To earn 5% Cash Back on your travel reservations, visit the “Travel & Vacations” category on your MarketPlace page and click any travel merchant listed. Then, click through the links to visit the merchant’s website and make your reservation in the new browser tab that opens.
For travel reservations made at a merchant outside the program’s online MarketPlace, simply submit your proof-of-purchase documentation to earn 5% Cash Back.
Gasoline purchases are not eligible for 5% Cash Back.
You can claim unlimited standard Shipping rebates and Return Shipping rebates up to $10 on purchases from Platinum Brands. You can also claim shipping and return shipping rebates of up to $10 per purchase from MarketPlace retailers. You're eligible for a total of $500 in shipping rebates and $500 in return shipping rebates on MarketPlace purchases every 12-month membership period. Simply submit a rebate claim with valid proof-of-purchase documentation to receive Shipping rebates and Return Shipping rebates. All your Savings from Whatever Works Rewards will appear on your Savings page, whether you shop at our Platinum Brands or MarketPlace retailers. To visit your Savings page, sign into your member account online and click “Savings” on your main menu. When your purchase ships, your automatic Cash Back earnings will appear on your Savings page within approximately 5-7 days.

If you decide to cancel your membership, you'll still have access to your benefits until the end of your monthly term. After you cancel, you'll receive a check for the remaining balance stated in your Savings.
